The perfect gateway

Our restaurant is located on Calle Ciegos, an iconic cobblestone street in Jerez that was integrated into the González Byass Winery at the end of the 20th century.

The canopy of virgin vines overhead and the bluish-toned cobblestone floor create the perfect climate for aging wine, offering travelers a unique interplay of light and shadow on their way to our table.

An undefeateable soul

If Pedro Nolasco were to stroll through our Jerez streets, he would surely do so on a novel and eye-catching contraption. That was just who he was—eloquent, charming, and forward-thinking; it was not for nothing that they called him "el Cuco" (the Clever One).

Our restaurant is a tribute to his spirit—hungry for sensations, and deeply in love with his land and family tradition. Five generations later, his drive continues to inspire us.

The Antillian tableware

The "El Altillo" estate was acquired by Manuel María González Ángel, founder of the Tío Pepe wineries, as a family retreat and a venue for hosting celebrations with numerous personalities from Jerez and English high society.

The tableware used in those official receptions has been passed down from generation in generation, and today it graces our restaurant's tables, inspired by the family legacy and the exquisiteness of that era.
