On 11 August 2020, this Amontillado set sail on a round-the-world voyage to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the first circumnavigation by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián de Elcano. For ten months, it became one with the rhythm of the waves, returning to the port of Cádiz in June 2021, transformed forever by its journey. A wine that does more than commemorate history, it invites you to relive it.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino.
Alcohol Content: 17.7% Vol.
Appearance: Deep mahogany in colour, reflecting its remarkable depth.
Nose: Exceptionally complex and elegant, marked by its long biological ageing, further refined by its time at sea.
Palate: Creamy and savoury, with a pronounced saline finish: the sea breeze’s unmistakable imprint, experienced long after each sip.
Ideal for fine dining and simple fried dishes where the quality of the ingredients takes centre stage. Tuna, white meats and seasonal vegetables find in it a precise, elegant and unmistakable companion.
