SOLERA 1847
Solera 1847 brings together two grape varieties in perfect harmony: the structure of Palomino Fino and the all-consuming sweetness of Pedro Ximénez. Eight years of ageing under the traditional criaderas and solera system create a wine where intensity and smoothness coexist in perfect balance.
Harmony born from contrast.
Variety: 75% Palomino Fino, 25% Pedro Ximénez.
Alcohol Content: 18% Vol.
Appearance: Deep, intense mahogany in colour, reflecting the influence of Pedro Ximénez.
Nose: Enveloping aromas of raisins, vanilla and oak, with a warm, lingering elegance.
Palate: Delicate and beautifully balanced. Notes of figs and raisins unfold alongside caramel and seasoned oak, finishing with a subtle hint of nut.
Served well chilled in a traditional sherry copita or a tall wine glass, Solera 1847 pairs effortlessly - from aperitif to dessert. It is especially well suited to cheeses and desserts that are not overly sweet, such as ice cream, fresh fruit or a classic apple tart.
