Tío Pepe Cuatro Palmas

Where time becomes legend.

Complex, intense and razor-sharp. Cuatro Palmas is the culmination of biological ageing, taken to its ultimate transformation into an Amontillado Viejísimo. From the entire solera, only one cask: number 5, aged in La Constancia Solera Museo, has been selected for this release. An essence of Jerez that captivates from the very first moment.

Time in its most absolute expression.

For each release of the Finos Palmas collection, we work alongside a distinguished figure from the world of wine to select the casks that most faithfully express a wine at the precise moment of its evolution. Cuatro Palmas reveals just how far a Fino can go when time and patience are allowed to work in perfect harmony.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino

Alcohol content: 21.45% Vol.

Appearance: Deep mahogany in colour with amber highlights, bright and crystal clear.

Palate: Powerful, bone dry and uncompromising. Deep and untamed in character. The finish is imposing and remarkably long, displaying a masterful balance between freshness and age. Notes of sea spray, brine, cocoa and caramel emerge across the palate, giving way to lingering balsamic, roasted, saline and subtly bitter nuances. A legendary wine.Nose: Spectacular, profound and extraordinarily complex.

Notes of antique furniture, cedar, lacquer and varnish evoke fine craftsmanship and extraordinary concentration. Beneath it all lies the unmistakable imprint of its biological ageing.

Cuatro Palmas demands time. Mojama and cured fish bring out its maritime character. Very old cheeses stand up to its intensity, while the contrast of pure dark chocolate reveals an unexpected depth. A wine to be savoured without haste.
